Let me just start by saying I got to episode 22 before I literally couldn’t force myself to keep watching it anymore. It’s that bad. There is the new members' race, the 1000km, inter-high, etc. It is a fine story but doesn't surprise me after watching the first season. Art: 9/10 The art/animation style changed from season one/two, and is the same style as the OVA. Mostly great, but personally disliked some of the changes, such as Imaizumi getting blue instead of the darker coloured hair. In truth, I was too disappointed to keep watching this season after 10-19 episodes. Like most knows, now the senpais are gone and the kohais are doing their best in their own way. The new characters weren’t that interesting and lowkey really annoying most of the time. It made me dread the flashbacks because of it (and I like flashbacks). It didn’t really need to continue but I was on board for continuing the story provided that they fix the issues with the story. They didn’t, in fact they made it worse. Despite a very weakly written protagonist, the whole of Yowamushi Pedal is held together by the fact that the Sohoku team is a group of relatable average joes while all of their rivals are overconfident jerks who push them to be better.
